2020 power forward Chris Moore will be playing his college basketball at Auburn. At 6’7″ and primarily playing on the inside he overcomes the height disparity with a high motor and basketball IQ to make an impact for his team. Put backs, rebounding, blocking shots and anything else you can think of around the basket is what Moore brings to the table. He does not have great athleticism overall so it will be more difficult to make plays inside at his size, so that is something to watch going forward. His mid range game is below average and needs improvement and his outside shot has been virtually non existent so he will need to expand that aspect of his skill set. Every team needs players who do the dirty work and make plays on both ends of the floor and that is what the Tigers are getting with this pick up.
Moore is ranked #101 by Rivals, #97 by 247 Sports, and he is not ranked by ESPN. Playing for the Woodz Elite out of Arkansas on the AAU circuit he averaged 15.9 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 24.9 minutes per game. This gives the Tigers their third commitment in the class of 2020 with Moore being the second highest recruit of the group after five star Sharife Cooper.
