The Lakers are still holding out hope that Demarcus Cousins could return to the team this season. He is currently rehabbing an Achilles injury that is likely to have him out the entire season, but if he is able to return it would be a big lift for the team considering the preference of Anthony Davis to play power forward.

Kevon Looney will miss the next two games and possibly more with a hamstring injury. The Warriors have struggled as a team to start the season losing both of their games by large margins so they need him back in action as quickly as possible.

Adidas is attempting to buyout the endorsement contract of Wizards point guard John Wall. He is currently expected to miss the entire season with an Achilles injury after missing time with a knee injury in the previous year. His contract with the company was scheduled to pay him $25 million over the course of the deal, but a buyout would be a  significantly less amount upfront.

Kelly Oubre has been fined $10,000 for his comments towards referees in the Nuggets/Suns game. Oubre has been off to a good start this season averaging 21.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2 steals in 29.7 minutes per game.
